Our lodges were born out of a love at first sight for the unique and enchanting place that is Akagera.
When Stéphane visited the park and discovered the region in 2022, he fell in love not only with the environment, but also with the kindness of the people, their culture, their traditions, and their incredible resilience and zest for life.
After two years of work, Ihema Lodges came to life to welcome you to our luxury lodges nestled in nature.
