Discover Akagera National Park and its Big Five
NATURE
Ihema Lodges is located right next to Akagera National Park, one of Rwanda’s four national parks. This unique park is home to the famous Big Five, set against breathtaking landscapes. We are delighted to offer you a guided tour of the park (1, 2, or 3 days) with our experienced guide, Emmanuel, known as "Fils". Having worked as a park guide for seven years, he has an unmatched talent for spotting hidden wildlife in the savanna and revealing the wonders of this preserved natural paradise

Enjoy a bubble of relaxation
WELL-BEING
What Could Be Better Than Taking Time for Yourself After a Day of Exploration?
Unwind on your private terrace overlooking the lake while sipping a fresh fruit juice, or surrender to the expert, gentle hands of our masseuse—this is also Ihema Lodges.
A magical escape to recharge and reconnect with yourself

Immerse yourself in the richness of local handicrafts
CREATE
To know a country is to know its artists and artisans. We have established a partnership with the Akagera Traditional Cultural Village, a unique place dedicated to preserving and revitalizing the craftsmanship and traditions of eastern Rwanda. Come and learn weaving, basketry, traditional dances, or even try your hand at brewing banana beer... But above all, meet the country’s greatest treasure—its people!
